Whitefish is located at the edge of Glacier National Park in the Northern Rocky Mountains. It’s a vibrant town built around a shared appreciation of the wild. Bigfork is surrounded by mountains and forest, and hugs the shore Bigfork Bay on Flathead Lake. It’s known for fine art, fine dining and great theatre. Its world-class art galleries are the reason that the community was designated as “One of the 100 Best Small Art Towns in the West.”

Polson is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation in a natural amphitheater at the south end of Flathead Lake – the largest natural freshwater lake in the western United States. This charming lakeside community is the trading center for one of Montana’s most fertile farming areas.

The city of Hayden borders the western shore of Hayden Lake. Fishing and water sports are popular pastimes on the lake. Residents and visitors can stroll down the sandy shores of Honeysuckle Beach with a roped swim area, dock, public change house and restrooms, or enjoy an afternoon of shopping in the city’s downtown business district where locally owned shops, boutiques, restaurants, pubs, and amenities of all types are easily accessible.

Just over the Washington/Idaho border and minutes from I-90 you’ll find an outdoor enthusiast’s haven in Post Falls. The naturally forested historic town has hiking and biking trails, amazing granite cliffs and rock outcroppings for climbing and bouldering, along with numerous water-sport activities.

Rathdrum, a city in northern Idaho near the more well-known Coeur d’Alene, is often overlooked. Located in a coniferous forest and surrounded by creeks, lakes and rivers, natural attractions and activities, like water sports and hiking, are among the most popular.

Sandpoint offers world class recreational opportunities, Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, an historic downtown, abundant public art, exceptional parks, trails, walkable neighborhoods all juxtaposed by the largest lake in Idaho—Beautiful Lake Pend Oreille.

Liberty Lake was once known as “Spokane’s Inland Seashore.” With natural beauty and attractions like boating, entertainment, dancing, and Fourth of July celebrations; many were originally brought to the area by electric train.

Spokane is considered the “downtown” of a region that includes three U.S. states (Washington, Idaho and Oregon) and two Canadian provinces (Alberta and British Columbia), the city caters to a variety of travelers. People visit during all four seasons for an exciting array of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities in addition to a more relaxed pace pursuing Spokane’s serene outdoors.
